Welp, I think DC won the week in terms of gangbuster announcements. If
you've been avoiding the internet all week, thanks for coming back to
read the newsletter! Here's what you missed:
*After METAL, Scott Snyder (along with James Tynion IV and Josh
Williamson) are going to revamp the JUSTICE LEAGUE family of titles with
a weekly event in May, followed by 3 new titles.
*We now know what Brian Michael Bendis is going to start his tenure at
DC with: SUPERMAN! After a weekly MAN OF STEEL title that'll somehow
make us rethink things we know about ol' Supes, he's taking over both
SUPERMAN and ACTION COMICS with Ivan Reis and Patrick Gleason on art.
Potentially very exciting!
*Also in May there'll be a DC NATION one shot, with previews of the
above new directions as well as Tom King throwing in some BATMAN wherein
Joker finds out about Bat & Cat's engagement, and isn't too jazzed.
