Did you see the announcements from last week’s IMAGE EXPO? Holy moly, they’re building an even better slater of books for 2015, which I didn’t think was possible. Here’s a list of just some of the things to look forward to:
PAPER GIRLS by Brian K. Vaughan & Cliff Chiang-- set in the mid 80s and chronicling strange post-Halloween events for four 12 year old paper delivery girls!
WE STAND ON GUARD by Brian K. Vaughan & Steve Skroce-- wait, ANOTHER new BKV series?!? Wow. This one with art by legend Steve Skroce, set 100 years in the future as Canadian civilians protect the border from invading USA giant robots. Looks amazing!
PLUTONA by Jeff Lemire & Emi Lenox-- a group of kids find the remains of the world’s most famous super hero!
MONSTRESS by Marjorie Liu & Sana Takeda-- alt-WW1 action, on a world with giant monsters? Weird and cool.
I HATE FAIRYLAND by Skottie Young-- a 40 year old woman trapped in her 8 year old body wrecks havoc in a fantasyland!
KAPTARA by Chip Zdarsky & Kagan Mcleod-- science fiction comedy from two of the best talents in the biz!
REVENGEANCE by Darwyn Cooke-- 3 issues of noir-tinged revenge!
Do you follow us on facebook? If you do, due to the website’s new policies regarding business accounts, you might not see us as much in your feed as you used to. Facebook is going to hide business posts a bit more than they used to, trying to get business owners to pay for exposure. I can’t decide if I think that’s vulgar or not, I kinda get it.
