PODCAST! Our friend and customer Ian Bates is involved in a new podcast you might want to check out: REBORN AND REMEMBERED, all about DC’s Rebirth! Every week they’ll tackle a different aspect of Rebirth, with all its twists and turns… and they’ll also be working to spread awareness of suicide prevention. And, it’s that time of year: HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATIONS (sad trombone). Parking and traffic already kinda suck around here, and from Wed 6/7 to Sat 6/17 it’ll be a bit more challenging. We still need your business through this though! Here are some tips to help you get the comics you want and need:
*There are NO GRADUATIONS AT ALL on Sunday 6/11, Monday 6/12 and Friday 6/16!! And only ONE at 10am on Saturday 6/10!
*Most graduations are scheduled for 10am, 2:30pm or 7pm-- so the half hour or so before will be very congested, but should clear up right after. Plan around!
*DON’T USE BROAD STREET AROUND THE SIEGEL CENTER! Don’t be a hero, you’ll get frustrated. I recommend Marshall, Grace and Monument. You’ll be able to get close, and it might be a lovely brisk walk!
*We’re going to stay open LATE on Wednesdays to help you get your books-- til 9PM! Traffic should be way clearer after 7. And we’re talking about possibly doing deliveries of comics and will confirm once we figure out feasibility.

STAR WARS: DROIDS UNPLUGGED (Marvel) Chris Eliopoulos does some of the best kids’ comics on the racks these days, so this is bound to be fun. Unless you’re looking or dark, edgy mature comics featuring the beeping droids of Star Wars. Then this might not be your bailiwick.
BEAUTIFUL CANVAS (Black Mask) A female assassin has to balance the realities of the job with coming to terms with a pregnant girlfriend. Lurid!
BLOOD BROTHERS (D.E.) Brother detectives in a city populated by mythological creatures, written by Fabian Rangel, Jr. (Space Riders, Helena Crash, Tarantula)-- SOLD. Looks great!
GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO (Titan) Hey, look! Another comic adaptation.
