PARKING! Let’s talk about it. The bus construction along Broad Street has put a real damper on not just our business, but businesses all along the corridor. We understand and share your frustrations and want to do everything in our power to make it as easy to get here as we can. To that end, we have decided to help you pay for your parking! There’s a parking garage at the western end of the block, above the Barnes & Noble bookstore… it’s a VCU lot but it’s open to the public. Parking less than an hour costs $1, and effective immediately we will pay for that parking with a purchase of $20 or more. All you have to do is bring the receipt card they spit out at you, and you get a buck back. It’s our hope this eases the pain a bit.
SUB BOXES! I hate to harp on this, but we really, really need you guys to pick up your sub boxes. If you come in every week or two skip to the LAST CALL stuff… but if you feel like maybe you haven’t been here in the last couple weeks we really need you to come in. The comic business is completely reliant on weekly cash churn. What we make this week pays for next week’s invoice. The last time I counted we had about TWO MONTHS’ WORTH of rent sitting in those boxes, and our rent ain’t cheap! Even if you think, “oh it’s no big deal, I only have like $25 in there”, it is a big deal, especially if there’s 30 other people with the same or more sitting. Thanks in advance for getting in here!

COSMO (Archie) All ages sci-fi adventure from Archie Comics! Ongoing series.
