Hello, all-- Ahh, summer. No more graduations, the Incredibles 2 is out and just as good as the first one (seriously, go see it. It's amazing), and every now and then it's not raining! We have towels here if you get caught in a deluge on your way to picking up funny-books, so don't worry about dripping on comics. And thanks to the kindness of our customers, we have plastic bags aplenty to make sure they get home dry. For all you night owls out there: we're going to do a MIDNIGHT RELEASE PARTY on Tuesday, July 3rd going into the 4th for the release of BATMAN #50 (the wedding of Batman & Catwoman), CAPTAIN AMERICA #1 (welcoming new creative team Ta Nehisi Coates and Leinel Yu) and all the other great Marvel & DC comics arriving. Come grab your comics between shots at your favorite bar-- we'll be open from 11 to 1, plenty of time to hit last call after! Also of note: Wednesday, July 4th we'll be OPEN REGULAR HOURS as it's a normal new book day! If coming out at midnight ain't your bag, we'll be here! LAST CALL! This one's about people bravely trying to pierce the veil and learn more about death. I bet there are consequences.  STAR TREK THE NEXT GENERATION: TERRA INCOGNITO (IDW, Mini, $3.99) If you've been on for previous iterations, you're on for this one. If you want on, lmk! APHRODITE V (Image, Ongoing, $3.99) Revisiting an old property from a new angle.  LIFE OF CAPTAIN MARVEL (Marvel, Mini, $3.99) Retelling and streamlining good ol' Carol Danvers' origin story. Just in time for her movie!  CLANKILLERS (Aftershock, Ongoing, $3.99) Billed as a hybrid between Game of Thrones and Kick-Ass. That's weird enough to make me explore further, I dunno about you.  ARCHIE MEETS BATMAN '66 (Archie/DC, Mini, $3.99) You know immediately whether you want this one or not. Tell me! THRILLING ADVENTURE HOUR (Boom!, Mini, $3.99) Based on the beloved podcast and stage show, from those things' creators!  DEAD LIFE (Titan, Mini, $3.99) Well lookee there, a zombie comic!
