Hello, all...
Well, we're almost done. Today is the last day of the dreaded high
school graduations. I've heard from many of you about trying to get to
the shop and having too hard a time of making it. It's frustrating, we
know. If you've tried to come in and it hasn't worked out, please come
in tomorrow! It'll be free and clear then, and we'd love to see you. I'm
speaking with the local police department to see if there's anything
that can be better done for next year, because this stuff ain't fun for
anyone.
What IS fun, though, is a bevy of new DC comics announced just this week
that'll be rolling out sometime late summer/early fall. Some gems
include:
*LEGION OF SUPER HEROES returns earlier than we thought, by Brian
Michael Bendis and Ryan Sook! And it looks like Bendis' hit new
character NAOMI might be involved! Or Jon Kent, Superboy. Maybe both?
*GOTHAM CITY MONSTERS features Frankenstein pulling together a bunch of
freaks to fight the good fight in Gotham...Killer Croc, Lady Clayface,
Andrew Bennett (of I, Vampire fame) and Orca are on the rosters for
starters. Looks real fun, and Steve Orlando is one awesome book away
from breaking into the mainstream!
*HARLEEN-- writer/artist Stjepan Sejic delves deeper into Harley Quinn's origin in this prestige 3 issue mature readers title.
*FLASH FORWARD will show us what's next for Wally West post-Heroes in
Crisis! It'll be way better if it involves reuniting him with his
children, just sayin'.
