We need to chat a little bit more about the upcoming BIKE RACE. We’ve had a lot of folks say to us that they plan on just skipping coming in the week the bike race is happening. As a small business that’s a bit scary for us-- not many places can weather the hit of a sizable chunk of their clientele not coming in all at once. And the cool part is, you won’t have to skip it! Most of the bike races happen daily between about 11am and 3pm, and the powers that be are saying the minute the race is concluded the roads will open back up. We are going to stay open later for that week to give people the chance to get in here, so hopefully most of you can work with us and pop in around the insanity.

Now let’s talk about VARIANT COVERS. We have to tweak how we order and deal with these items somewhat, as there is a mounting wave of glut and we are not going to surf it to the depth they’re being offered in coming months. When 3rd tier Marvel debuting books have 10 different covers being solicited, well, we think it’s getting excessive. Moving forward we are going to be much tighter on our variant ordering, and what we need from interested parties is timely, proactive communication. If you see a cover in which you are interested, tell us! As soon as possible! We will be able to tell you about both our ability to get in this variant and our ability to hold it for you.
