Remember I told you recently that we were beefing up our backstock, buying more collections? Well, we’ve got some real choice stuff on the racks currently! We’ve recently acquired issues like Uncanny X-Men 266 (1st Gambit!), New Mutants 87 (1st Cable!), New Teen Titans #2 (1st Deathstroke!), Showcase #75 (1st Hawk & Dove!), and many more! If you’re in the market for such treasure, come by and check it out!
LAST CALL! After discussing it over in focus groups, and batting around different ideas in the corporate headquarters, we’ve decided to focus on the LAST CALL list and phase out doing monthly sign up sheets. Why, you ask? That’s a great question! Perhaps due to the fact that last call items are coming so much sooner, and have had more promotion on the internet by publishers and websites, we get exponentially more responses from the Last Call lists than we ever did the sign up sheets. I appreciate that it’s tough to commit to something not shipping for months, so I don’t begrudge anyone holding off on adding things to their lists. Hopefully with these lists of debuting titles shipping in three weeks, everyone will have a chance to add the titles they want. DOUBLE D Book One (Image) This graphic novella is written by Eddie Argos, lead singer of the great ART BRUT! He’s been a comic fan way longer than he’s been a rock star, and this coming of age super hero story looks darn good.
GODDAMNED (Image) Scalped creative team Jason Aaron and RM Guera reunite for this bleak, violent take on pre-flood Biblical times. This will be good.
LIMBO (Image) 80s/50s voodoo noir mash-up! It’s probably as weird as that sounds.
ALL NEW ALL DIFFERENT AVENGERS (Marvel) Mark Waid and A Kubert bring us the new dream team: Iron Man, Sam Wilson Cap, lady Thor, Ms. Marvel, Miles Morales Spider-Man, Nova, and Vision!

Let’s talk about COVERS real quick! Eagle-eyed observers may have noted that publishers are spitting out more variant covers than ever. Some of them we can order in whatever quantity we choose, while some we have to jump through special hoops to get. For customers interested in these different covers, we encourage you to communicate with us which ones you’re interested in.
