Hello, all... Did you know we'll be open completely regular hours over this last weekend of 2017? Yep, we're too old to party too hard, so we'll be here today (Saturday) 10-7, Sunday 12-6 and Monday 10-7. I bet there's a pretty good chance we've got something here you'd like to check out, come on by! RESTAURANT INDUSTRY DAY! We're going to start something up on Monday 1/1/18, a shout out to the restaurant industry folks out there-- the bartenders, the cooks, the hosts, the servers-- you guys work your butts off day in and day out, in a largely thankless way. Both my daughters and my special ladyfriend work in the industry, so I hear on a daily basis the highs and lows. And I remember during the bike race that shut the city down a couple years ago, it was the restaurant industry folk who made it a point to get in here and spend money when very few people were willing to leave the house, even though they weren't making any money either. Anyway, to the point: from now on, every Monday here at Velocity will be for you-- you get an extra discount on anything purchased as a THANK YOU for taking such good care of us whenever we go out!
