Hello, all...
This is going to be a DC-centric newsletter this week, because they've
got some stuff on the horizon that needs your attention. First and
foremost, I have to commit to order quantities for books shipping in
NOVEMBER because they're being printed with ACETATE COVERS. What the
heck are those, you ask? Well-- for their standard covers, the books
will have a clear acetate cover with an image on them, on top of a
second cover image. Kind of confusing, I know. The concept is
explained/animated pretty well here ...
what I'd like to hear from you guys is if you want these, which will be
regular price (mostly $3.99) or would prefer the cardstock variants
that'll generally sell for a buck more. Or maybe you want both, who
knows? It's a long way out to have to decide what you want, I know.
Welcome to my weekly hell of trying to guess/figure it out. At any rate,
the acetate covers will not be reprinted, so if you feel like you want
them tell me now. If you don't care, carry on!
2nd DC bullet: remember those Wal-Mart exclusive GIANT comics from the
last year and a half or so? The new batch is going to be orderable by
comic shops! They'll retail $4.99 for 96 pages and will have a mix of
new and reprint content. Here is the list of the ones available in
October, let me know if you want 'em!
