It's HELLBOY DAY today! We're celebrating with a load of free stuff
courtesy of Dark Horse (posters, window clings, temporary tattoos and
more!) and 25% OFF any #1 or volume 1, all toys and statues, and all
non-Marvel and non-DC product. Come on by if you can, we're open until
7!
This Wednesday 3/27 marks the release of DETECTIVE COMICS #1000! There
are a ton of cool covers to choose from, if you hadn't put in your
request for which one(s) you want the doors are closed on doing so, get
here when you can to grab what you want! If you're already a Detective
subscriber and haven't selected a specific cover, we'll throw the main
one in your box. You're welcome to swap it out if you find one you
prefer, and we ordered a pretty big pile of these guys so we should be
solid. We decided to NOT do a midnight release this time, but we'll have
'em promptly at 10am Wednesday.
We're still looking to buy collections! Here's a list of comics we'd like to buy from you, if you're looking to sell:
*early era DC/Vertigo comics like Sandman, Preacher, Y the Last Man, Animal Man, Doom Patrol, The Invisibles...
*70 Marvel! Ghost Rider, Black Panther, Luke Cage, Deathlok, Eternals...
*Key issue 1st appearances like Amazing Spider-Man #300 (1st Venom!),
New Mutants #98 (1st Deadpool!) and Batman #386 (1st Black Mask!)...
We'll take a look at pretty much anything you want to bring in, but
we're not looking to buy any recent stuff unless there's some demand for
it and we don't already have it. Any day but Tuesday, bring 'em on in!
LAST CALL! Our orders lock on the following titles on Monday! They
arrive for sale in about 3 weeks, but telling us you'd like it now
guarantees your copy! Pretty short list this week:
