Hello, all! Everybody hanging on okay out there? 2020 is a never-ending bull ride and it feels like we're all a millisecond away from losing grip and getting trampled. Luckily there's a steady stream of awesome comics coming out these days to distract, inspire, and immerse in. Since we're halfway through this apocalypse of a year, I thought it'd be fun to offer up my TOP 10 COMICS THUS FAR... maybe there'll be something new in there for you to check out. FAR SECTOR (DC) by NK Jemisin & Jamal Campbell There are some obvious omissions in there... 'Something is Killing the Children' narrowly missed entry, 'X-Men' hasn't come out in a long long time, and 'Immortal Hulk' is segueing into its next story arc. All excellent, but the above books are the ones I find myself diving into first, and rereading. REAL TALK: This week the unemployment supplement runs out for folks grappling with financially surviving the pandemic. We understand that this might limit your ability to pick up your comics. What's very important, though, is talking to us about it. We're in a similar boat-- we cannot afford to hang onto stuff indefinitely, and if you communicate to us I'm sure we can work something out. If you ghost us we have no choice but to shut the box down, and it won't be the kind of thing where you can just pick it back up at your whim. Let's all try to be as financially smart and respectful of others' situations as we can through this, okay? LAST CALL! BATMAN: THREE JOKERS (DC Black Label, Mini, $6.99, shipping 8/25/20) One of the most anticipated comics of the decade is finally on schedule! There will be a bunch of covers, and we're partnering with some fine shops to make sure we can get as many of them for you as we can.

DEATH METAL GUIDEBOOK (DC, One-shot, $5.99, shipping 8/18/20) If you've read some of Death Metal but were left with a deep sense of "hhhhuuhhh?", this'll hopefully clear that up. We're not going to order a ton over sub numbers, so tell us if you want it!

VOYAGE TO THE STARS (IDW, Mini, $3.99, shipping 8/19/20) Based on the hit podcast that I've never heard of! There's great people involved so I'm sure it's a hoot.

LORDS OF EMPYRE: SWORDSMAN (Marvel, One-shot, $4.99, shipping 8/19/20) Empyre has been killing it so far, so I'm all in on this guy.

MAESTRO (Marvel, Mini, $4.99, shipping 8/19/20) There's a big gap in the story between the Hulk we know now and the Maestro he one day becomes. This mini is the bridge!

POWER RANGERS: DRAKKON NEW DAWN (Dynamite, Mini, $4.99, shipping 8/19/20) Looks like there's a lot of buildup to this that has MMPR fans buzzing.

SHADOW SERVICE (Vault, Mini, $3.99, shipping 8/19/20) A witch who's also a Private Investigator!
