Hello, all!
There's a lot of hustle and bustle on the streets today, but don't
worry-- it's the fun kind! No street closures or anything, but VCU
students are moving in this weekend! There are no traffic or parking
issues, but it's a little more lively out there than it has been.
Welcome back, students and faculty! I hope you leave enough room in your
growing brains to stuff some comics in there.
*We're running a couple of ONGOING PROMOTIONS that I wanted to
tell/remind you about, in case you're new to us or forgot about them.
Every Monday we salute RESTAURANT INDUSTRY employees by offering them
discounts on product-- if you or your friends are in the biz, we'd love
to see you then! You're welcome every other day, of course. But Mondays
we try to make special for you. And then, every Thursday we run a SECRET
SALE-- we won't divulge what it is, but it changes every week and you
have to come in to see what it is. Or talk to someone who did. Previous
Thursdays have included things like 30% off back issues, or 25% off
manga... if you're free this Thursday come check it out!
*And before we get to the fun stuff, a REMINDER: we have a FOUR WEEK
TIME LIMIT on sub boxes. We'll send you a message the week you hit the
limit, subscribers, but if you don't respond or show up in a timely
fashion we're gonna shut it down. Comic shops lose a lot of money on
subscribers who bail, and that's money we very rarely make back-- it's
just gone. We've seen an upswing lately in people either routinely
waiting til they get the message, or just flaking altogether on us. We
can't afford to let things drag beyond the established deadlines, so we
thank you in advance for keeping up with this stuff on your own. TBH I
hate feeling like a bill collector and having to chase down lapsed
folks. It ain't fun.
LAST CALL! These titles debut in a few weeks, but our orders lock on
them Monday. Don't sleep on the stuff you want! Telling us before Monday
is your best bet to guarantee a copy for you!
